Noah (born c. 1965) is Mrs. Deverill's farmhand and is a secondary antagonist in the first book. He can't speak properly and takes a dislike to Matt. It is believed that he has mental problems.

At the end of the novel he dies when he is killed by his own sickle plunging through his stomach when he falls through the top floor of the barn made by Matt.
